Poodles are a versatile breed of dog known for their outstanding intelligence and sharp memories. Poodles, historically, are excellent hunters and swimmers. In addition, the disposition of poodles is warm and friendly. They are a wonderful member and loyal companion to any family. The poodle is impossible to beat with its many attributes. The Poodle also has a long life expectancy and lives longer than the average canine.

Poodles come in many different sizes. Only three are recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and Canadian Kennel Club (CKC).

  • The TOY POODLE is the smallest of the Poodle breed and is 10 inches or under at the shoulder.
  • The MINIATURE POODLE is considered the mid size Poodle; it is 15 inches or under but not less than 10 inches at the shoulder.
  • The STANDARD POODLE is the largest of the three sizes and must be 15 inches or higher at the shoulder.

Carnmoney Toy Poodles specializes in the Toy Poodle size. Tiny Toy Poodles and Teacup Poodles are the smallest of the Toy Poodle line. The Tiny Toy Poodles weigh between 6 and 8 pounds. The Teacup Poodles are between 2 and 4 pounds with 3 being the norm. At Carnmoney Toy Poodles we determine the approximate puppies adult weight by doubling their weight at the age of 12 weeks (see our weight chart).

All of our Toy Poodles are registered with the AKC or CKC.

All of our Toy Poodles are micro chipped before leaving our home.

All of our Toy Poodles are sold as PET QUALITY ONLY and come with limited registration unless otherwise discussed and authorized. In this case, the Toy Poodles are DNA tested prior to arriving at their new home.
